When I first became an entrepreneur, I almost never went on vacation! I was always working on something, hustling hard to make my business a success. Years later, I realized that sustainable success can only be achieved with a healthy balance of hard work and fun.
That is why Recreation is such an important part of my process, The Elevation Approach. I work hard and pursue projects that I’m deeply passionate about, but I also take time off to travel and unwind.
I love traveling in spring! The weather is wonderful, and it’s the perfect time to relax after the year-end rush and tax day.
If you have too much on your plate, it’s time to delegate and take a step back to rest and recharge.
Here are some must-see places you can visit this spring:
Accademia Gallery (Florence, Italy)
This incredible gallery houses a wide variety of beautiful artwork and sculptures, including the world-renowned statue of David by Michelangelo. Research shows that looking at art can relieve mental fatigue, restore one’s ability to focus, and boost our creativity, so visiting art galleries is the perfect remedy for burnout.
The Louvre (Paris, France)
One of the largest museums in the world, the Lourve houses an impressive art collection, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. In addition to famous paintings, the Louvre pyramid that serves as an entrance to the museum is a stunning architectural marvel in itself.
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (Tokyo, Japan)
This 144-acre park is a must-visit place, especially in spring to see the beautiful Japanese cherry blossom trees, or sakura, in bloom. Being surrounded by nature has a magical way of making you feel lighter and happier, so this is a great place for a long, leisurely walk.
Always remember to slow down and take some time for yourself! You’ll come back energized and ready to take on anything that comes your way.
Let’s soar,
